  • Born: Feb. 28, 1925, in Ise-Ekiti, Ekiti State.
  • Education:
    • Attended Holy Trinity Primary School, Aisegba (1930).
    • Became a pupil teacher at Christ School, Ado-Ekiti (1937–1939).
    • Completed her Standard Six certificate (1941).
    • Trained at United Missionary College, Ibadan (1941–1943), earning a Higher Elementary Certificate.
    • Studied at the University of Reading, UK (1960) for professional teacher education.

Impact on Nigerian Education & Leadership

  • Taught in Ekiti and Oyo states (1941–1948).
  • Played a key role in the Nigerian Girls Guide Association, forming the first Ibadan Cadet Company at the United Missionary College.
  • Became Girls Guide Leader for Oyo North and South in the 1960s.
  • Rose to prominence at Olivet Baptist High School, Oyo.
