The video quickly circulated across social media platforms, including X and Instagram, before being deleted from his TikTok account. Isokpehi later posted an apology, attributing his remarks to frustration.

Commissioner Orutugu condemned the officer’s behavior, describing it as unacceptable and inconsistent with the standards of the Nigeria Police Force. He reaffirmed that the Force is a disciplined institution that will not tolerate misconduct, abuse of office, or any form of unprofessional behavior that could undermine public trust.
The Command assured residents of Anambra State that the outcome of the disciplinary process would be made public and that any officer found culpable would face appropriate sanctions in accordance with police regulations and the law.
Furthermore, the Command reminded all officers to remain professional, emotionally balanced, and respectful while performing their duties, especially amid increased public scrutiny of security agencies. The statement also commended the public, civil society organizations, and social media users for bringing the incident to light, emphasizing that such feedback is vital to accountability and improved policing.
