Nollywood has been thrown into mourning following the tragic deaths of fast-rising actor Evans and Director of Photography Nnunu, who reportedly passed away after consuming drinks gifted to them on set.
Veteran movie producer Stanley Ontop broke the heartbreaking news via Instagram, revealing that the drinks were allegedly bought by a movie director as a token of appreciation for their efforts during a shoot.
According to Ontop, both men began experiencing severe stomach pains just hours after taking the drinks. What was initially dismissed by colleagues and crew members as a minor health issue quickly turned fatal.
They were rushed to the hospital but sadly pronounced dead on arrival. Authorities have since launched a full investigation into the incident to determine the cause and source of the suspected poisoning.
