Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo has stirred online buzz after revealing that her daughter Priscilla Ojo has already had six wedding ceremonies with two more still to come.
The actress made the revelation in a celebratory Instagram post following Priscilla’s traditional wedding to Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, which took place on April 18, 2025 at The Five Palm in Lekki, Lagos.
Iyabo wrote:
“6 done and dusted 🔥. 2 more to go, one in Lagos, one in Tanzania, May 28th we are coming.”
The announcement sparked mixed reactions across social media:
- Uzor Amenike questioned, “David own sef no reach this one. Hope it’s not a church wedding? I thought the guy converted her to a Muslim.”
- Idubor Ivith commented, “Too much of everything is bad 😔.”
- Blessing Abodi added a prayerful note: “No be this one. Long lasting marriage ijn amen.”
While many admired the lavish celebration and cross-cultural union, others expressed concern about the perceived excess. Still, the buzz around Priscilla and Juma Jux’s fairytale wedding series doesn’t seem to be dying down anytime soon.
