Nigerian singer Victony has made a remarkable entry onto the Billboard World Albums chart with his sophomore album, ‘Starlife’.
The 15-track project debuted at No. 20 on the latest chart, marking Victony’s first-ever appearance on this prestigious list. Released on August 21, ‘Starlife’ boasts collaborations with notable artists including BNXN, Blaqbonez, YKB, Babyboy AV, Young Jonn, and Fola.
The album features previously released singles such as ‘Fre$h’ and ‘Slick’, alongside standout tracks like ‘Too Lit’, ‘Who This’, ‘STARLIFE’, ‘Pino’, ‘Fyne’, ‘Clear’, ‘2Fresh’, ‘Armed & Dangerous’, ‘Can Juice’, ‘Missin Piece’, ‘Twin’, ‘Amazon’, and ‘Typo’.
‘Starlife’ is Victony’s second studio album, following his 2024 debut ‘Stubborn’ and the 2025 eight-track EP ‘Very Stubborn’. Born Anthony Victor, the artist first rose to prominence after his feature on Mayorkun’s 2021 hit ‘Holy Father’. In 2022, he released ‘Soweto’ with producer Tempoe – a track that became one of his biggest hits and was later remixed with Omah Lay, Rema, and Don Toliver.
Originally starting his musical journey as a rapper, Victony has since expanded his repertoire to include R&B, trap, and Afropop, solidifying his place as a versatile force in the Nigerian music scene.
