Umar Sadiq has agreed on personal terms with Villarreal and is only a few dots away from joining Samuel Chukwueze at the club, Gidipoint.com reports.
It’s now down to Villarreal agreeing to pay the €25m demanded by Almeria for the Nigerian international.
The Rojiblancos want a fixed fee of €30m plus add-ons before giving the player the green light to join Villarreal.
Since joining Almeria in 2020, Sadiq has made 74 league appearances in La Liga 2, seven from the bench, and directly participated in an impressive 57 goals (37 goals, 19 assists), and played a pivotal role in ensuring their promotion to La Liga.
