Controversial Nollywood actor and comedian, Ijoba Lande, has shared his experience working with Funke Akindele on a movie set, revealing the payment he received.
The actor, who recently made headlines due to infidelity allegations involving his wife and other Nollywood actors, opened up in a newly surfaced audio clip circulating online.

Speaking about the project, he disclosed that the movie was filmed at Amen Estate and that he was driving a Lexus 350 at the time.
🗣️ “There was a time Funke Akindele called me for a movie production at Amen Estate, and we spent one month,” he revealed.
However, he noted that for the entire duration of the shoot, he was paid only ₦90,000—a sum that many have since debated online.
Advice to Upcoming Actors
Reflecting on his experience, Ijoba Lande advised upcoming actors not to idolize or see any top producer as a “god” in the industry.
💬 “I will advise the upcoming actors never to see any top actor as God. I have learnt my lessons,” he stated.
He also emphasized the importance of clearly stating fees before accepting movie roles, stressing that he now ensures payment terms are agreed upon before stepping on any set.
