Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has shared her experience filming an intimate bedroom scene with actor Daniel Etim Effiong for Blood Sisters Season 2.
In a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, Henshaw emphasized the importance of openness, trust, and professionalism when shooting such sensitive scenes.
Before filming, Henshaw said she had an honest conversation with Daniel to ensure both were comfortable with the demands of the role. I asked Daniel about the sex scene—‘How far are you comfortable? and he said, ‘Sis, no problem, she recalled.
Henshaw went on to reveal that she was topless during the shoot, but praised Daniel for his maturity and respect throughout. “I was bare up with him. At no point did Daniel get an erection—he’s a good boy,” she added.
The actress highlighted that intimate scenes are more challenging than they appear on screen, requiring mutual respect, consent, and discipline from everyone involved. Her candid comments have sparked discussion among Nollywood fans, with many commending Daniel’s professionalism and applauding Henshaw for her transparency about the realities of acting.
