Temi Otedola Ajibade, wife of music executive Oluwatosin ‘Mr Eazi’ Ajibade, has shared that she first learned about her pregnancy during their honeymoon.
In May, Temi announced that she and Mr Eazi were expecting their first child, revealing her baby bump to the public.
On a recent episode of their podcast, Temi recounted that she discovered the news about two and a half weeks into their honeymoon in Tokyo. She began feeling ill and lost her appetite, even finding herself unable to eat during a dinner at an Italian restaurant. These unusual symptoms led her to take a pregnancy test, which gave an immediate positive result.
Temi explained that her husband, Mr Eazi, was initially skeptical about the result. However, after a second test and a medical scan, the pregnancy was confirmed.
“Our discovery happened about two and a half weeks into our honeymoon, while we were in Tokyo. I started feeling unwell and was getting carsick, which was unusual for me. One night, I couldn’t even touch the food at dinner. That’s when I suspected I might be pregnant, so we got a test strip. The result appeared instantly, which surprised me, since in movies it usually takes several minutes. Tosin didn’t believe it at first, so we took another test and went for a scan, which confirmed it,” Temi said.
The couple’s relationship began in 2017, and they got engaged in April 2023. Their six-year romance culminated in a lavish, three-part wedding across Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland – an event reportedly costing around $15 million. Mr Eazi has also hinted that a fourth wedding celebration may still be in the works, stating, We have one more to go.
