Leo Messi and Gonzalo Higuaín both published photos together with Carlos Tevez, suggesting that the Juventus striker may be close to making a return to international football with Argentina after he was controversially left out of the squad for the 2014 Brazil World Cup.
Tevez was left out during a large part of the time when Alejandro Sabella was in charge of the Argentinean national team, despite being Juventus’ first-choice striker. There were rumours questioning whether it was a decision taken solely by the manager, or whether Messi had a part to play.
The photo of Messi and Tevez together in Milan was posted on Twitter by Team Lionel Messi, the group which publishes news on the Barcelona star and the Argentinean national team. Tevez also spent some time with Higuaín in the Ferrari pits during the Italian Grand Prix. They had their photo taken and the Napoli player posted it on Facebook.
