Chilean striker Alexis Sánchez is currently in London and ready to take a medical at Arsenal, according to local news agency the Press Association, which appears to confirm that a deal has been agreed with Barcelona to sign the player.
According to PA, the two clubs have agreed a price of £30 million (around €37.7 million) in an agreement that could be made official in the next few hours.
The Gunners are also looking to make an offer for French defender Mathieu Debuchy who currently plays at Newcastle, as part of Arsène Wenger’s plan to build on the FA Cup success achieved last season.
