Thierry Henry is close to leaving Major League Soccer to become the new coach of Championship side Bournemouth.
The former Arsenal and Barcelona star is currently with CF Montreal in MLS but, with the top vacancy free at the Vitality Stadium, Henry is tempted to move back to England.
ESPN and The Athletic are reporting that Bournemouth are very keen on landing the French World Cup winner although no official offer has been made.
Henry‘s departure would open the possibility for Argentine legend Gabriel Batistuta to become Montreal’s new coach.
A rumour emerged that Batistuta had received an offer from a MLS club last Friday, and it is being speculated that Montreal are that club.
