Daddy Freeze Challenges Conventional Religious Views on Wealth and Financial Prosperity

Nigerian media personality Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, has sparked debate with his recent remarks about wealth and religion.

During a livestream, Daddy Freeze responded to Peller’s claim that God has blessed him financially, challenging the widely held belief that serving or worshipping God leads to financial prosperity.

He questioned why so many devoted Christians continue to struggle financially, arguing that linking wealth directly to religious devotion overlooks the sacrifices of figures like Stephen in the Bible.

When you try to connect worshipping God to possession, you take for granted the sacrifice of the biblical Stephen. Believing that praying to God guarantees financial success is a misguided notion passed down by our parents. They prayed, but did they have money?” he said.

Daddy Freeze went on to assert, As long as you attribute money to God, you will remain poor and broke. God doesn’t give people money. If He did, the world’s richest people would be born-again Christians.

You could even wake up every day saying, ‘I hate God,’ and still be rich. Acknowledging God’s existence isn’t a requirement for wealth.
