Afrobeats sensation David Davido Adeleke honored his wife, Chioma Adeleke, in celebration of her 31st birthday.
On Thursday, the Unavailable crooner took to X to share a heartfelt message, writing: Happy Birthday to my loving Wife … MRS CHIOMA ADELEKE 🎉🎂.
Davido didn’t stop there. On his Instagram story, the 33-year-old singer showed off a luxury designer bag he gifted Chioma.
Davido and Chioma remain one of Nigeria’s most closely followed celebrity couples. Their relationship began publicly in 2019, marked by Davido’s proposal to Chioma. Despite facing challenges in 2021, including allegations of infidelity, the couple persevered.
In June 2024, Davido and Chioma celebrated their traditional wedding and are now parents to twins. The birth of their twins in October 2023 in the United States was especially meaningful, arriving a year after the tragic loss of their first child, Ifeanyi. The moment was seen as a significant step in the family’s healing process.
Reflecting on his experience as a father, particularly with twins, Davido shared that many people had warned him and Chioma about the challenges of raising two babies simultaneously. I remember when they came, everybody was like, You have twins; it’s going to be hard, he recalled.
But my twins are blessed. They don’t even cry. They are just calm, and they are growing so fast. It’s a blessing. Thank God for everything, really.
The Grammy-nominated artist also reaffirmed his dedication to monogamy, stating, I’m not cheating again.
