Hulk Hogan’s nightmare: He had the nerves cut from his lower body and can’t feel anything

WWE legend Hulk Hogan is suffering from some serious health issues after undergoing back surgery. The last time that Hogan competed was at SummerSlam against Randy Orton back in 2006, one year after being inducted to the Hall of Fame.

Wrestler Kurt Angle, who won a gold medal at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, revealed on his podcast ‘The Kurt Angle Show’ that Hogan has been struggling following his latest operation.

“He had the nerves cut from his lower body,” Angle said.

“I thought he was using the cane because he had pain in his back. He doesn’t have any pain. He has nothing at all. He can’t feel anything. So now he can’t feel his legs.

“So he has to walk with a cane which is, you know, that’s pretty serious, man. I mean, I really feel for Hogan.

“He put his heart and soul into the business and [it] ate him up. I mean, if you’re gonna kick off the show, the 30th anniversary of Raw, [it] should be Hulk Hogan.

“He’s the name and face of the company. He’s the guy that revolutionised pro wrestling, I have so much respect for him.”

Injured his back in 2009 while collecting shells

Back in 2009, Hogan suffered a serious back injury while picking up shells on the beach. The injury that was so significant that doctors treating him in a Florida hospital did not rule out that he may not be able to fully recover and that he may suffer some kind of paralysis.

Hogan was 57 years old at the time and had already undergone several operations on his spine.
