The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of results for candidates who participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18.
According to a statement released on Sunday by JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, a total of 1,264,940 results from those two days have been processed and are now available for candidates to check.
This latest batch of results follows the earlier release of 632,752 results for candidates who took the examination on Thursday, April 16, bringing the total number of results released so far to 1,897,692.
JAMB advised candidates to check their results by sending “UTMERESULT” to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number (SIM) used during registration for the 2026 UTME, in line with the board’s established result-checking procedure.
The results released so far represent candidates who sat for the UTME during the first three days of the nationwide examination, which began on Thursday. JAMB noted that more than two million candidates are expected to participate in this year’s UTME across various computer-based test centres nationwide.
