Stephen Otieno, popularly known as Stevo Simple Boy, has announced the end of his relationship with his partner Brenda.
In a statement shared on Instagram, the Kenyan rapper and comedian disclosed that a recent DNA test confirmed he is not the biological father of their child, prompting the separation.
“The results have been difficult to process, but I have chosen to handle this matter with dignity and respect for everyone involved. I ask my fans and the public to respect my privacy as I navigate this chapter of my life,” Stevo Simple Boy said.
He also expressed gratitude to Microafia Healthcare for conducting the DNA test and providing the results professionally. Stevo emphasized that his focus will now shift fully to his music, career, and building a better future.
The DNA test came after claims by Stevo’s former manager, Geoffrey Machabe, that he was the child’s biological father—claims which Machabe has since withdrawn and apologized for.
Stevo Simple Boy married Brenda in October 2025.
