Brazilian defender Matheus Doria produced a Puskás Award-worthy moment, scoring an unbelievable standing scorpion kick from a corner to ignite Atlas FC’s incredible 4-3 comeback victory over Club Tijuana in Liga MX.
Trailing 3-0, Atlas looked down and out after first-half goals from Jose Murillo, Jhojan Julio, and Jesus Grijalva put Tijuana in full control. However, Doria’s acrobatic strike turned the tide before Serbian forward Uros Djurdjevic took over, netting a hat-trick in just 18 minutes to seal the dramatic win at Estadio Caliente on March 9.
