Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson has announced the death of his father, a loss that has also deeply affected his sister, actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande, and the Nigerian entertainment community.
Timini shared the sad news on Sunday, January 4, 2026, via his official Instagram page, posting pictures of his late father. Accompanying the images, he wrote:
Didn’t think I’ll start the year saying this… Rest in peace Dad.
So much left unsaid, but I’ll keep making you proud.
