Rihanna surpasses Kim Kardashian as America’s richest young woman

Rihanna has become the youngest self-made billionaire in the United States, displacing Kim Kardashian from the top, according to the annual Forbes list.

The 34-year-old singer is ranked 21st on Forbes’ annual list of self-made women.

Rihanna is the only billionaire under the age of 40 on the list.

Forbes estimates that the singer’s net worth comes mainly from her music and cosmetics companies.

The artist’s riches also make her the world’s richest female musician, Forbes had previously reported.

How did she get so wealthy?

Although Rihanna is primarily known for her musical side, most of her money comes from her brands Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin and Savage X Fenty.

The singer owns 50% of Fenty Beauty, which reportedly brought in $550 million in 2020. She also owns a 30% stake in her Savage X Fenty lingerie brand.

Despite great fortune, she not planning on stopping

In 2019, Rihanna told the New York Times that she doesn’t plan to stop working despite the fortune she has amassed.

“I never thought she would make so much money, so a number won’t stop me from working,” she said.

“The money means I can take care of my family,” she continued. “The money means I can facilitate the businesses that I want. I can create jobs for other people,” she said.

Kim Kardashian moved to second place

The next youngest billionaire on the Forbes list is Kim Kardashian, 41, who has a net worth of $1.8 billion.

Currently, in addition to success and economic stability, Kim is going through a good personal moment because her relationship with comedian Pete Davidson, who is 13 years younger, and it seems to be getting better and better.

The youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, who is the youngest non-billionaire on the list at 24, was crowned Forbes’ youngest self-made billionaire in 2018.
