Veteran Nollywood producer Stanley Ontop has weighed in on the ongoing controversy between actresses Destiny Etiko and Queeneth Hilbert, shedding light on the details behind their highly publicized dispute.
The feud recently escalated into a legal battle after Queeneth Hilbert, in a now-deleted Instagram post, accused Etiko of snatching people’s boyfriends, citing a personal experience.
In a recent video, Stanley Ontop claimed that the dispute stemmed from a ₦1 million gift sent to Destiny Etiko by a married man after her leg surgery, which she publicly acknowledged. He alleged that the man in question had been in a five-year relationship with Queeneth Hilbert, a fact widely known within Nollywood circles.
Stanley Ontop clarified that there was no romantic involvement between Etiko and the married man. He also revealed that he had attempted to reach out to Hilbert via direct message to address the issue, but she blocked him.
In a shocking turn, he further claimed that nearly every Nollywood actor had been romantically involved with Queeneth Hilbert, dismissing her previous allegations of homosexuality against him.
The controversy has since intensified online, sparking widespread reactions from fans and industry insiders.
