Nigerian forward Taiwo Awoniyi has joined Belgian top-flight club Gent for his fourth loan spell from Liverpool.
The 20-year-old who recently signed a new 5yr contract at Anfield will join the Belgian side on a season-long loan from Liverpool.
The former U23 striker has spent the last three seasons on loan at FSV Frankfurt, NEC Nijmegen and Royal Excel Mouscron.
Awoniyi had been in hot demand after an amazing season in Belgium with Mouscron where he netted 11 goals and provided seven assists in all competitions and had been sought after by the trio of Standard Liege, Anderlecht and Club Brugge.
He was left out of their tour of the United States in a bid to complete a deal with Gent, who finished fourth in the Belgian top-flight last season.
Awoniyi joined the Merseyside outfit from Imperial Soccer Academy in 2015.
He will begin his season with KAA Gent on Friday as they prepare for an away trip to Standard Liege.
