Will Smith has officially jumped on the “Anxiety” challenge, taking fans by surprise with his own spin on the viral TikTok trend—and he did it alongside the Swamp Princess herself, Doechii.
On Thursday, March 13, Smith shared a clip of himself vibing to the song’s signature “Somebody’s watchin’ me/ It’s my anxiety, yeah” soundbite. In a clever twist, when he turned to face the camera, his reflection stayed the same, but the real-life version of him was replaced by Doechii.
He captioned the post: “Somebody’s watching me”, while also crediting influencer Brooke Monk for kickstarting the trend. Given the wave of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air edits featuring “Anxiety”, it seemed like only a matter of time before Smith hopped on.
“I’ve been watching y’all, and every video has been better than the last!” he said in a previous post on March 7, sharing a throwback clip of himself and Tatyana Ali (Ashley Banks) dancing on the classic show. He also praised Doechii, adding: “Love that track, [Doechii].”
Are Will Smith & Doechii Collaborating on New Music? 🎶🔥
With Smith back in his rap bag, fans are now wondering—could this lead to a collaboration?
In February, Smith teamed up with Big Sean for “BEAUTIFUL SCARS”, featuring a Matrix-inspired visual. He also reunited with Joyner Lucas for “TANTRUM” and dropped “WORK OF ART” with Russ and Jaden.
Meanwhile, Doechii, fresh off her Grammy win, has been making major moves with features on:
- BLACKPINK’s JENNIE – “ExtraL”
- BANKS – “I Hate Your Ex-Girlfriend”
- Katy Perry – “I’M HIS, HE’S MINE”
- Tyler, The Creator – “Balloon”
Whether for Smith’s upcoming project, Doechii’s debut album, or even a surprise single, a collaboration between these two powerhouses would be 🔥.
