A 56-year-old man, John Yakubu, appeared before the Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan on Wednesday, facing charges related to a N4.9 million fraud.
Yakubu was arraigned on counts of obtaining money by false pretences and stealing, to which he pleaded not guilty.
Prosecutor Inspector Samuel Owolabi told the court that the alleged offences occurred in January at Ojoo, Ibadan.
