A Sharia Court sitting at the Kano Hisbah Command has sentenced a facebook user, Sadiya Haruna to a six-month Islamiyya School participation to learn basic Islamic cultures.
Sadiya was arrested by the Kano Police Command on the allegations of spreading nude videos and pictures on her Facebook page, which created serious problems among some Islamic leaders.
However, after her arrest, the Police Command took her to Sharia Court sitting at the State Hisbah Command and presided over Ali Danzaki.
The Presiding Sharia Court Judge, Ali Danzaki said he sentenced Sadiya Haruna to go back to Islamiyya School at Darul Hadith for a period of six months.
He ruled that Sadiya Haruna would on a daily basis go to the Islamiyya School with the full escort of Hisbah Guards who would ensure that She also signified her presence at the School.
