The All Progressives Congress (APC) has declared its intention to win all seats in the upcoming FCT Area Council elections (Feb. 21, 2026) and the 2027 general elections.

Speaking at an APC stakeholders’ meeting in Abuja, Dr Mariya Mahmoud, Minister of State, FCT, emphasized that the party had:
✅ Identified and addressed internal challenges.
✅ Unified its members to prevent selfish interests from derailing collective goals.
✅ Strengthened grassroots mobilization ahead of the elections.
“We have identified where our problems lie and are more united to overcome them. The result of our unity will manifest in the area council elections in 2026 and the general elections in 2027.”
Tinubu’s Governance Boosting APC’s Prospects
Mahmoud highlighted President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to inclusive governance, citing the creation of Youth and Women Secretariats in the FCT to enhance political participation.

APC FCT Chairman, Malam Abdulmalik Usman, praised party members for their dedication, saying their efforts had solidified the party’s dominance.
