The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled the structure of its campaign council for the 2027 general elections.
The list, published Thursday by the Kadri Obafemi Hamzat Media Centre, features key political figures including Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, former governors Babatunde Fashola and Akinwunmi Ambode.
According to the council’s structure, Prince Tajudeen Olusi will chair the Governance Advisory Council, with Sanwo-Olu serving as Chairman of the Advisory Council. Fashola and Ambode have been appointed as Co-Chairmen. Other notable members include the President’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa; and former Minister of Health, Adeleke Mamora.
At the campaign council level, Sanwo-Olu is named Chairman, with Deputy Governor Kadri Obafemi Hamzat as Deputy Chairman. Ojelabi Cornelius, Mudashiru Obasa, and Damilola Sonayon James are listed as Vice Chairmen I, II, and III, respectively. Former Senator Musiliu Obanikoro will serve as Director-General, supported by Rasaq Ajala as Deputy Director-General and Adekunle Olayinka as Campaign Secretary.
The council comprises various directorates and sub-committees responsible for legal and compliance, party and inter-party affairs, administration and logistics, traditional institutions, diaspora engagement, and residents’ associations.
The formal inauguration of council members is set for Friday, September 18, at the APC Secretariat on ACME Road, Ikeja, Lagos.
