Mohammed Adah, widely known as King Ochacho, a prominent Nigerian real estate mogul, has announced a $1 million commitment to promoting his son Ice King Ochacho’s upcoming album.
This announcement was made during a phone conversation with TikTok influencer Habeeb ‘Peller’ Hamzat.
King Ochacho stated that he is ready to pay social media managers, influencers, and streamers to ensure the album receives widespread attention across platforms.
Speaking in pidgin English, he said, “All the influencers, all the social media handler’s wey you get, if dem dey up to 1000, I go send all of them money, make everybody post Ice King album on their page to promote the album.”
Ice King Ochacho, born Shedrack Mohammed Adah on August 6, 2013, in Otukpo, Benue State, began to show an interest in music at the age of seven, experimenting with freestyling and rap. The young artist is not only an emerging rapper and Afrobeats singer but also a multi-instrumentalist, skilled in drums, guitar, saxophone, and clarinet.
Ice King first caught public attention with a viral freestyle video on social media, which earned him the nickname ‘Wonder Kid’. He went on to release tracks such as ‘E Choke’, which featured a remix with Teni.
In 2025, Ice King released his debut EP, ‘I’m Back’, a six-track project that includes songs like ‘Ochacho Money’ and ‘Oh Papa’.
