The two-time Grammy nominee showcased his artistry with songs from the 2024 chart-topping album, as well as his first single of 2025, Why Love. The Boston concert marked another milestone in a jam-packed year for the hitmaker, who continues to captivate audiences worldwide.

Asake’s 2025 is off to a historic start. He was recently named Nigeria’s best-selling artist of 2024 by TurnTable Charts becoming the first artist to win the title three years in a row. His album Lungu Boy also clinched the title of best-selling album, debuting at No. 1 and staying at the top for a record-breaking 15 weeks.

The success follows a familiar path for Asake, whose previous albums Work of Art (2023) and Mr. Money With The Vibe (2022) also topped charts and redefined the sound of modern Afrobeats.

In addition to headlining the Yardland Festival in France later this year, Asake leads the nominations at the 17th Headies with six nods, including Album of the Year and Song of the Year further cementing his reign as one of the genre’s biggest stars.
