Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham was reportedly involved in a fiery training ground bust-up with teammate Antonio Rudiger last week, just days before their high-stakes Champions League clash against Arsenal.
According to El Chiringuito, tensions flared after Rudiger went in hard on Bellingham during a training session under manager Carlo Ancelotti. The England international was said to be furious with the challenge and confronted the German defender angrily, prompting other teammates to step in and separate the pair.
The altercation comes at a critical time for Los Blancos, who are aiming to pull off a miraculous comeback at the Santiago Bernabeu after their crushing 3-0 defeat at the Emirates in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final.
Despite the clash, both Bellingham and Rudiger are expected to start against Arsenal on Wednesday. Vinicius Jr., who was also rested alongside Bellingham in their La Liga game against Alaves, is set to return to the lineup for the crucial second leg.
Madrid will return to domestic duties on April 20 when they host Athletic Club in La Liga.
