British actor Noel Clarke has been formally charged with multiple sexual offences, including sexual assault, voyeurism, and exposure, following an investigation by the Metropolitan Police.
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) authorised the charges on Wednesday after detectives submitted a file of evidence.
Clarke, 50, is facing two counts of sexual assault, three counts of voyeurism, and one count of exposure. The alleged offences reportedly took place between 2007 and 2016 and involve five women.
The investigation was launched by Metropolitan Police detectives in September 2025, leading to Clarke’s arrest. He was later released under investigation. Clarke is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on October 21.
Detective Superintendent Mike Cagney, who is leading the inquiry, confirmed that the women involved are receiving support from specially trained officers and encouraged other potential victims to come forward.

Clarke is best known for his role as Mickey Smith in ‘Doctor Who’ (2005–2010) and for creating and starring in the films ‘Kidulthood’ (2006), ‘Adulthood’ (2008), and ‘Brotherhood’ (2016). He is married to Iris Da-Silva and has four children.
