Elon Musk has strong admiration for French military commander, Napoleon

We’ve all heard about Napoleon Bonaparte’s heroics and many changes he made to modernize France, Elon Musk seems to have the French commander as one of his role models. However, people in France may tell a different story about the French conqueror and regard him as one fo the world’s biggest villains. No person who wields that much power is free from sin, they all make mistakes along the way that can easily get them into the villain role. With Napoleon, this is exactly the case. Elon Musk has studied the French revolutionary who changed France’s history and wants to emulate him.

In the film ‘Batman: The Dark Knight’, attorney Harvey Dent has a phrase that describes how people can go from good to bad over time. He says: “Either you die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.” This is exactly what happened to Napoleon for wanting to stay too much time in power after monopolozing it. Elon Musk has done many great things throughout his life and he is already modernizing the entire world through his work in tech.

However, the South African tech mogul’s decision to buy Twitter and essentially getting a platform that renders him more powerful is completely a move Napoleon would make in order to grow his hold on the people. Musk’s father, Errol recently spoke to The Sun and made some private revelations about his son’s predilection for Napoleon’s history. In the past, Musk has praised Napoleon for being a highly sociable person and likeable as well.

Errol reveals Elon Musk’s Napoleon complex?

Here’s what Errol Musk said: “Elon was a great admirer of Napoleon. He often used to tell me that if Napoleon had not been defeated by the decadent monarchs, we would have had the internet by the year 1900. If I had to compare Elon with anyone it would be Napoleon, who made an indelible impression on him. Elon kept a copy of Napoleon’s last will and testament for years. He would say to me: ‘Dad, look at how he thought of others all the time. He was always thinking of others.’

“And that’s Elon. Elon is a force for good. Like Napoleon, he wants to make things better with Tesla, NeuralinkSpaceX, and now Twitter, where he is exposing the liars and bad people doing very bad things. Elon is very idealistic and always has been. He was always ‘What a wonderful world.’ And he couldn’t understand anyone not seeing it like that. Elon believes in justice for all. He can’t comprehend people doing things deliberately bad. He’s taking some time to figure that one out. But he is learning.”
