The mysterious and tragic death of 36-year-old Hollywood actress Hayden Panettiere has taken a disturbing turn as federal drug agents intensify their focus on her convicted abuser and boyfriend, Brian Hickerson.
Following her apparent fatal overdose in South Carolina, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is reportedly questioning Hickerson as part of a sweeping federal investigation to identify the dealer responsible for supplying the lethal drugs.
In a dramatic development, Panettiere’s grieving mother is now publicly demanding that police conduct a deeper investigation into Hickerson himself, claiming that his account of her daughter’s final hours is riddled with inconsistencies.
The DEA became involved after paramedics responded to an overdose call at Panettiere’s Greenville apartment on August 16.
