In true Weezy fashion, the album cover continues the series’ iconic tradition: a younger, tattoo-covered version of himself, this time marked with standout ink like “I AM MUSIC,” the African continent, and star motifs nods that longtime fans will instantly recognize from the legendary Tha Carter III baby cover.

Earlier this year, Wayne unexpectedly revealed the album’s official release date via a Cetaphil commercial aired during Super Bowl week a classic off-the-wall move from the Young Money boss.
In his April Rolling Stone cover story, the rap icon gave more insight into the project: “If there’s one thing about this album that’s different, it’s me approaching it like, ‘Man, what would I sound like on something with such and such?’” That mindset has attracted a stacked guest list, including his son Kameron, Miley Cyrus, Bono of U2, and Wyclef Jean, who reportedly collaborated with Wayne on 30 tracks.
And there’s still hope for Young Money reunions fans are keeping fingers crossed for Nicki Minaj and Drake to make appearances.
