Super Falcons defender Ngozi Ebere has said she is delighted to join top French club PSG and looking forward to win trophies for the team. The former Rivers Angels left-back sealed a two-year deal with PSG ladies team.
The 24-year-old has 29 caps for Super Falcons and won the African Women’s Championship with Nigeria in 2014.
“I am here to give my best to the team to win trophies. I am very motivated by this new challenge that awaits me here in Paris. It’s a dream come true,” Ebere told the club’s website.
The team coach Farid Benstiti welcomed the Nigeria star and said he believe she has the qualities to make the team once she has adapted.
“Ebere is a Nigerian who plays left-back. She will compliment Laure Boulleau. She has great potentials and qualities that showed in the last World Cup,” said the PSG coach.
“She will need time to adapt, but her qualities will enable her to be ready fairly quickly.”
