Nottingham Forest Join Everton In Race To Sign Emmanuel Dennis

Africa Cup of Nations: Watford striker Emmanuel Dennis will not play for Nigeria after his club 'bare fangs' | Football News | Sky Sports

Premier League new boys Nottingham Forest have reportedly joined Everton in the race to sign pacy Watford winger Emmanuel Dennis.

The Nigeria attacker has been strongly tipped to head north to Goodison Park this summer, with Dennis identified as a potential replacement for Richarlison after the Brazilian’s big-money switch to Tottenham.

Forest have now joined the race for 24-year-old.

The Hornets paid just £3m to sign Dennis from Club Brugge last summer, the forward scored 29 goals in 116 appearances for the Belgian club and did well in a struggling Watford side.

Dennis notched up 10 goals and added six assists in 33 Premier League outings last season. However, his performances could not stop the Vicarage Road outfit from beating the drop.

The versatile winger, who can also play through the middle, would give extra firepower to Forest or Everton if he was to sign.

However, the £25m asking price may be a little steep for both clubs.

It may be a case of waiting until later in the window to see if the player’s price drops as Watford look to cash in.
