“Win the League to Join the Legends” – Jamie O’Hara Challenges Declan Rice After Champions League Heroics

After his stunning Champions League performances against Real Madrid, Declan Rice has been tipped to reach legendary status but there’s one box left to tick.

Former Premier League star Jamie O’Hara has hailed the Arsenal midfielder as “world class” following his back-to-back Player of the Match displays, but insists that winning the Premier League title is crucial if Rice is to be mentioned in the same breath as Lampard, De Bruyne, Scholes, and Kante.

Speaking to Grosvenor Sport, O’Hara said:

“Declan Rice needs to win the Premier League. He proved his class against Real Madrid. If you want to be classed as an all-time great, like Frank Lampard and Kevin de Bruyne, you have to win Premier League titles.”

Rice was instrumental in Arsenal’s stunning quarter-final triumph netting two spectacular free-kicks in the first leg and locking down Madrid’s midfield in the return leg at the Bernabeu.

Now, with a Champions League semi-final clash against PSG on the horizon and Premier League fixtures against Ipswich and Crystal Palace still to come, Rice remains central to Arsenal’s ambitions both in Europe and at home.

The message is clear: Rice has the talent, the stage, and the spotlight all that remains is to bring home the league title.
