Wizkid and Reekado Banks seem to have put their differences aside after they were spotted dining together at a Lagos restaurant on February 24, 2025, alongside rapper Shallipopi.
The sighting suggests the two have reconciled after their fallout in 2020 when Wizkid called Reekado Banks a “clout animal” for announcing the release of their collaboration amid the #EndSARS protests. The track was eventually released without Wizkid’s verse.
Now, four years later, the two appear to have moved past their differences, sparking hopes among fans that their long-lost collaboration might finally see the light of day.
Since December 2024, Wizkid has been in Nigeria, performing at several shows during the festive season. His latest album, Morayo, named after his late mother, broke streaming records and set the tone for an eventful 2025, with the singer already announcing dates for his Morayo tour.
