Nollywood actor Zubby Michael has called on Nigerian youths to shun violence during the upcoming general elections.
In a recent video message, Zubby addressed the nation’s youth, urging them not to be used as tools for political conflict.
He emphasized that young people should not fight each other on behalf of politicians, but instead unite to tackle critical issues facing the country, such as injustice, kidnapping, corruption, insecurity, and poor governance.
There’s no electricity, no good roads, yet they mobilize you to fight, and you go along with it. Use your sense. Tell those who want you to carry weapons to give them to their own children instead.
The real battle isn’t youth against youth—it’s youth against injustice, youth against kidnapping, youth against corruption, and youth against bad governance. The spirit should be one of revolution, not fighting one another, he said.
