A Nigerian man, who alleges he was the nursery school teacher of singer Ahmed Ololade (Asake), has weighed in on the ongoing controversy involving the artist and his parents.
The drama began when Asake’s father publicly pleaded for his son’s assistance, revealing that he was battling a stroke. In response, Asake shared a video online, seemingly mocking the situation without directly addressing his father’s plea.
As more details emerged, claims surfaced that Asake’s mother abandoned him at the age of three, leaving him in his father’s care.
Now, Asake’s alleged former teacher has shared his own account, stating that the singer’s father was a caring and supportive parent. In a Facebook post, he described how Asake’s mother moved on and married another musician, while his father took sole responsibility for raising him.
The Teacher’s Statement:
“One fact about Malo, Asake’s father, is that he was a very nice man—not just to his son but to everyone, including me as his alleged nursery school teacher.
He raised his son alone after Asake’s mother got married to Musibau Alani, also known as Omokekere. Although she visited him occasionally, Asake lived with his father, not his mother.”
“To those in Mushin making claims they know nothing about, fear God. I know Asake inside out, as well as his parents.”
