V.ic, the music signee of actor Yul Edochie, recently shared a video on his social media where he expressed his concerns about the current economic hardship. The artist revealed that he spends between N750,000 to N800,000 daily, raising questions about how people without a steady source of income are surviving in such tough times.
In his post, V.ic reflected on the drastic rise in the cost of living, particularly how even basic foods like gari, which was once considered affordable, have now become a luxury. He emphasized the severity of the situation, asking, “How does the poor mass survive? This is not something to joke about.”
V.ic also shared that since joining the music industry, he’s been inundated with messages from fans asking for financial help. He disclosed that he spends approximately N100,000 on giveaways to his supporters, highlighting his efforts to assist others despite his own financial struggles.
The artist pointed out that while he spends significant amounts of money daily with little visible return, he continues to make an effort to give back to his community. “By the end of the week, about N700K or N800K is gone,” V.ic said. “Even this morning I spent not less than N100K because of the giveaway.”
