Nigerian forward Moses Simon scored on his debut in Spain as Levante were thoroughly trashed at home 6-2 by Sevilla at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia (Valencia) in Spain on Sunday
The Nigerian scored the late consolation goal for Levante in the 90th minute after coming on as a sub.
The 23 year old Jos born attacker Joined Levante from Belgian side KAA Gent in the summer for an undisclosed fee in a five-year deal.
The player however has been unable to debut for his new side no thanks to an injury but was one of the few positives for Levante in what was otherwise an uninspiring night for the Spanish side.
The Nigerian International who also missed the world cup in Russia no thanks to Injury jumped to the field of play and did not take too long to score, after controlling a pass inside the area and hitting Sevilla goalkeeper Vaclik with a left-footed volley which slammed through the Sevilla defence on its way in
Wissam Ben Yedder’s scored a hat-trick for Sevilla as they thoroughly outclassed a hapless Levante side
With the result Levante are rooted at 16th on the table just above the drop zone
