Basketball player-turned-rapper GELO is proving he’s more than a viral sensation. Making his Rolling Loud California debut on March 15, the rising star delivered an electrifying performance, showcasing his growing catalog and teasing what’s next.
Dressed in a red leather jacket and jorts, GELO opened with a premiere of “Law & Order”, before launching into his viral hit “Tweaker.” The track, which gained massive traction last year thanks to YouTuber N3on, remains a fan favorite. In a nod to their collaboration, the two confirmed another livestream just before the set.
Not forgetting his female fans, GELO performed “Can You Please”, though GloRilla—who features on the track—was absent due to her own touring schedule. That didn’t stop the energy from soaring, as his entourage stormed the stage, firing water guns into the crowd.
Instead of wrapping up early, GELO surprised fans with a brand-new song, shutting down critics who call him a one-hit wonder. One of his most talked-about lines took a jab at an unnamed NBA player:
“How ngas played on the Bucks and still ain’t got no fkin’ bucks?”
With just two official songs and a remix, GELO’s 12-minute set was short but powerful, leaving fans hyped for more. Before leaving the stage, he made one final promise:
“I got the album coming soon.”
