Award-winning Afrobeats sensation Omah Lay is gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated sophomore album, Clarity of Mind, set to drop on May 16, 2025.
The announcement was made via the Instagram handle of his label, Keyqaad, confirming the project as the follow-up to his critically acclaimed debut, Boy Alone.
Ahead of the album, Omah Lay has already teased fans with the hit single ‘Holy Ghost’, which dominated Apple Music Nigeria’s charts in 2024, and ‘Moving’, another fan favorite. He also made notable collaborations with Kaestyle and DJ Spinall, further cementing his influence in the industry.
Interestingly, Omah Lay previously revealed that he had to scrap an entire album after an artist he trusted allegedly copied his unique sound and released a project with it. Determined to start afresh, he promised that Clarity of Mind will be “the greatest in the history of Afrobeats.”

From winning the Headies Next Rated award in 2021 to consistently delivering hit records, he has showcased remarkable songwriting, soulful music, and an impressive blend of genres.
