Controversial Nigerian socialite Bobrisky shocked fans on April 1, 2025, when he claimed he had been arrested by immigration officials upon his return to Nigeria.
Taking to Instagram, the crossdresser wrote:
“Guys, I have just been arrested by immigration in Nigeria, I don’t know what I did o.”
However, moments later, Bobrisky revealed that it was all an April Fools’ prank, leaving many fans both relieved and amused.
His prank comes just months after he publicly announced that he had left Nigeria for his mental and physical well-being. In November 2024, he shared that constant online backlash and alleged harassment from security agencies had driven him to temporarily relocate.
“Yes, I’m here to confirm I’m out of Nigeria temporarily… I need to attend to my sanity and my health. Few Nigeria security agencies try everything to frustrate me but naaa I gat God,” he wrote at the time.
Despite the prank, Bobrisky remains outside Nigeria as he continues to focus on his personal well-being.
