Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have announced the birth of their second child, a baby girl called Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.
The couple released a statement after the baby was born on Friday June 4 at 11:40 am at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, California.
“It is with great joy that Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, welcome their daughter, Lilibet “Lilli” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, to the world,” read the statement.
According to reports, Meghan and the baby are in good health, with the baby weighing seven pounds and eleven ounces.
The name is a tribute to Queen Elizabeth and Princess Diana, as Lily became Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s second child after the birth of their son Archie in 2019.
