Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has rejected Speed Darlington’s challenge to a boxing match, branding the fellow artist as an unworthy opponent and accusing him of using the stunt to promote his upcoming April show.
In a fiery new video, Portable dismissed the viral challenge, saying:
“Speed Darlington no reach. Na Anthony Joshua I wan fight—bring N100 million!”
The Zazu crooner declared that he’s too big of a star to exchange punches with Speedy, redirecting his energy toward British-Nigerian boxing champ Anthony Joshua, and demanding a whopping ₦100 million for a potential showdown.
The online tension kicked off when Speed Darlington threw shade and challenged Portable to a bout, even attaching conditions to his performance at a show. But instead of taking the bait, Portable turned up the drama — as always — and took the banter to heavyweight level.
Portable also reminded fans of his self-proclaimed dominance in the music scene, saying he’s on a completely different level from Darlington.
