Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, Araga, has been evicted from the reality TV show, ending his run in the “Show Ya Sef” house.
His eviction was announced during Sunday night’s live show, closing the chapter on a journey that has kept viewers engaged since the season began.
Araga, a fashion model, was one of 14 housemates nominated for possible eviction in the competition’s seventh week. Alongside him were Abi, Aikou, Barry, Bells, Bluethopia, Chimsom Chuka, Flora, Nomy, Oyin, Ricky, Temi Nkem, Sheba, and Yusuf.
This week’s nominations featured a twist: housemates had to hunt for 14 red envelopes hidden around the house. Only one envelope offered immunity; the rest contained a “GOTCHA” message. Unfortunately for Araga, he drew a “GOTCHA” envelope, leaving him open to the public vote.
Throughout his time on the show, Araga stood out for his confidence and charisma, especially through his relationship with fellow housemate Goddessa.
The duo made headlines for sharing the season’s first on-screen kiss, igniting buzz among fans and across social media. However, their relationship later faced turbulence, culminating in several disagreements.
Goddessa was evicted in Week Five, and her post-eviction interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu focused heavily on her time with Araga.
After Goddessa’s exit, Araga remained a notable presence in the house, even making headlines as recently as September 10, when he was seen placing flowers on Goddessa’s photo wall—a gesture that resonated with fans.
With his departure, Araga becomes the latest housemate to exit the race for the ₦160 million grand prize as BBNaija Season 11 enters a pivotal phase. His eviction is expected to spark renewed conversation among fans, especially those invested in his journey and his headline-making relationship with Goddessa.
