Passenger who flew into Lagos from China dies at airport


A passenger identified as Chukwuma Anthony Ezeh slumped and died at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos on Wednesday.

Joseph Alabi, spokesman of the airport police command, confirmed the tragic incident to reporters, narrating how it happened.

“While walking at the arrival hall, the man slumped and died,” Joseph said.

Joseph said the incident happened at 3:15pm on the passenger’s arrival from China. He said Ezeh was confirmed dead at the airport clinic.

He added that the body of the deceased had been deposited at the air force base hospital mortuary.

The passenger was 47 years old.
